Book Editing & Writing
Customized for Each Author and Project

There are as many different types of books as there are different types of authors.  Our writing and editing services are therefore customized to the individual author and project ...

And always with the promise that we are

faster and less expensive than any other service.

  • Project Type One:   The author has written the book and needs only a third-party editor to review the text for correct grammar, syntax, typos, continuity etc.

  • Project Type Two:  The author needs help with both text editing and the organization of the book’s content.

  • Project Type Three:  The author needs help with the book’s organization as well as the actual writing of different sections and chapters.

  • Project Type Four: The author supplies the theme and concept for the book, but needs to engage our ghostwriting services.

THE PROCESS

  • Step One:  Meet with the author either in person or on the phone.  During the meeting, we discuss what the author wishes to accomplish in publishing the book.  We also discuss the book’s content and target audience.  The author then sends us a sample of his/her writing.

  • Step Two:  We decide on the type of writing project including each person’s level of participation.

  • Step Three:  Depending on the project type, we create a working title as well as a draft for the book’s chapters which we jointly review and agree upon.  This will determine the timeline for completion.

  • Step Four:  Using the draft as our foundation, we create an outline for each of the chapters.  This outline serves only as a guideline as we begin writing the book.  As the book progresses, we may change both the order of the chapters as well as the different content in specific chapters.  We may also decide to add, delete or merge chapters.

  • Step Five:  Writing begins.  A weekly meeting is held to review progress and make any necessary edits or changes in format to the completed chapters.
